ADAMS, HARLAND MORRISON, age 73, of Merritt Island, Florida, and Snowmass Village, Colorado, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2005. He is survived by his wife; his 2 children; his sister, Josephine Wurster (now deceased); and his brother. Mr. Adams is the grandson of Colonel Harland Sanders, the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken and played a significant role in the growth of KFC in the Southeast. A "Celebration of Life" service will be held at 2195 S. Courtenay Parkway, Merritt Island, Florida, on Saturday, December 17th at 11:00 a.m. A private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to The Space Coast Marine Institute, 1000 Inspiration Lane, Melbourne, Florida 32934.
